Christmas is just around the corner and with that as parents and grandparents we want to find imaginative ways for the kids to play and use their imagination. Both boys and girls enjoy playing with cooking and outdoor adventure
things. Instead of tablets and smart phones this year give the kids the world of exploring. I can't tell you how many times I have been in a store or even at the zoo where a child is playing a game or watching a show on a phone instead of exploring the sites around them and the parents engaging in conversation. Not to say this is all bad, I myself am guilty of turning on the television or tablet to get some peace and quiet once in a while but it all has to do with moderation.
