Free Easy to Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern

Free Crochet pattern can be crocheted as a infinity scarf of cowl depending on what length it's crocheted.

A quick and easy infinity scarf to crochet using a bulky yarn. Crochet this pattern with your favorite bulky yarn or variegated yarn to make an extra special infinity scarf.

The pattern is worked in rounds and can be easily crocheted larger or smaller, thicker (by using 2 strands of yarn) or lightweight for warmer climates.

A larger crochet crochet hook is used to make a larger stitch. This pattern can easily be crocheted in 1 evening depending on skill level.

Pattern

This pattern can easily be made longer by crocheting the first chain longer and increasing the amount of yarn that is used in the scarf.
Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Rep = repeat
Sk = skip

Gauge:  Gauge is not important for this item
Size:  Circumference will vary depending on the yarn.  Be sure it is large enough to fit over head nicely.

Materials:
Yarn – LionBrand Tweed Stripes yarn - 1 skein or bulky yarn of your choice.
Size K Crochet Hook (6.5 mm)
Other Materials: Yarn Needle to weave ends, Stitch Marker

Pattern Directions

Note:  You will be crocheting around in the chain circle try not to twist the chain.


Row 1:  Chain 67 join with sl st  - Try not to twist the chain (note chain 100 to make larger scarf)
Row 2:  Ch 1, HDC around 67 stitches total.
Rows 3-21:  Repeat row 2, (until one skein of yarn is used) fasten off and weave in ends.

Alternate pattern method:
If you do not want to crochet in the rounds an alternative is to crochet back and forth (67 stitches) and join with a slip stitch to complete the scarf.
