A sweet baby dress to crochet 
is one of the most fun pattern I have ever had the chance to crochet. After 3 grandsons from our son, he and his wife are giving us a new baby girl! I was so excited that I couldn't wait to crochet little girl items. After crocheting the boys hats, stuffed monster toys and more I was looking forward to crocheting a little girls dress. I wanted to start out with a simple pattern and find a dress that can be worn with something like a onesie underneath it. I decided to make a size 3-6 month for the summer since she is going to be born in late winter.

The yarn I used for this pattern is Bernat Baby Sport Pink and Bernat Softee Baby
in Pink Flannel. I also used a Size H Crochet hook
instead of an I for this dress using the baby yarn. Although the free crochet pattern I used suggested using Worsted Weight Yarn this yarn worked out great for the dress and is super soft and easy to wash. The dress opens in the back with buttons. My only suggestion when crocheting a baby dress or kids item that may be washed often is to make sure when you finish off the item that you do it well. I actually sewed a couple of spots in place just to reinforce the dress.
