The puffy quilt is an easy quilt pattern that originally appeared in Celebrations to Cross Stitch and Craft Magazine in the Autumn of 1991. The magazine is still available here on Amazon or eBay if you prefer the printed version otherwise it can be downloaded right away in PDF format.
The pattern can be made in full size, king or queen to fit a bed. Using your favorite fabric and can be ready to snuggle under quickly. This pretty, puffy quilt is quick to make‚ it will be ready to snuggle under considerably quicker than a traditional quilt. Simply machine stitch the 5-inch blocks, stuff each one separately, and then hand stitch them all together. Instructions are provided for King, Queen, and Full sizes. Yardages are listed for each of the five fabrics in each size quilt. The blocks are joined using the Ladder Stitch (instructions provided), which joins two finished edges without leaving visible stitches.
