Crochet a comfortable plaid blanket in your favorite colors. Make them in you team colors for school or favorite sports team! The blanket is crocheted in double crochet mesh with two strands of yarn woven through to make plaid. Using one main color of yarn and one contrasting color throughout the pattern. The ends are knotted in order to form the fringe on the blanket. The approximate finished size is: 46" x 58". Materials needed include: worsted weight yarn (100 gram balls) [approximately 220 meters (240 yards) per ball]; main color - 7 balls, contrasting color - 3 balls; a crochet hook, size F (3.75 mm) or size needed for gauge; and a yarn needle.
