The fabric you’ll be working on is Charles Craft 14-count Aida. Use an embroidery hoop to keep the fabric stretched tight while working, but be sure to remove the hoop when you’re not so you don’t get “hoop marks”.
The threads you will be working with are DMC Light Effects and DMC Cotton Embroidery Floss. The key on your Design Chart will tell you the number of strands to work with and what colors to use. Light Effects uses the same color numbering system as DMC cotton Embroidery Floss.
