Kids Dress Up Patterns
The kids will have hours of fun playing with grandparents, mom and dad, friends, or siblings when you make them a new costume from the crochet pattern book Kids Dress Up. Add your own special touches to the patterns by adding a sword, magic wand, or other items to enhance the costumes that you create. These patterns are sure to add hours of fun to a child's playtime!
Kids Dress Up allows kids to use their imagination while dressing up as a superhero, princess, monster, wild animal, or ballerina. The patterns are easy to crochet pieces that help kids play dress up in popular costume sets. You can use acrylic yarn for most of the pattern or add a little furry yarn to the cat and dog outfits for fun.
Glitter strands and metallic yarn add to the sparkle of the ballet tutu and the overskirt and royal crown of the princess pattern.
Most the crochet costume designs are for two sizes that includes ages 3-5 and 5-8 years of age.
Animals (Cat, Dog, and Monkey) contain three different sets; each has a headband with ears, paw mitts, and a tie-on tummy and tail. Ballerina has a tutu, leg warmers, and headband. Princess has a crown, knee-length cape, and overskirt. Scary Monster has a hat with pointy ears, paw mitts, and a tie-on tummy and tail. Super Hero has a short cape, boots, and wristband.
Most designs come in two sizes, for ages 3-5 and 5-8. All are for Easy skill level using a variety of yarn weights, including furry, metallic, and glitter strand yarn for special effects.
