How to Knit a Yoga Mat or Beach Mat Knitting Pattern

Sand and Sea Yoga or Beach Mat Knitting Pattern - Learn how to knit a yoga or beach matSand and Sea Knitting Pattern for Beach or Yoga Mat

This fun pattern is actually called a Beach mat that can easily be rolled up and carried to the beach with you.  Our thought is that if you use a really soft or durable yarn that it would make a great yoga mat as long as it is knitted correctly in order for it not to slip or slide on a surface.  If you do yoga in a carpet setting you shouldn't have any issues.
First select your favorite colors of yarn to knit the mat with.
Note this pattern is now only available in the Magazine Download found Here...
Knit with approximately 872 yds of MC and 218 yds of CC of chunky-weight yarn at a gauge of 12 sts and 18 rows per 4" using a U.S. size 11/8mm 32" or 40" circular needle. Finished size is approximately 24" x 57".
