Here is a classic Christmas favorite to crochet.

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn
16 oz Red
16 oz White
8 oz Green
Crochet Hook Size P
Note: Use two strands yarn hold together throughout.
Skirt:
Row 1: With red, ch 22, dc in fourth ch from hook, dc in each ch across, turn. (20 dc made)
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in each st across to last st, dc in last st, turn. (38) Front of row 2
is right side of work.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each st across, turn.
Row 4: Ch 3, 2 dc in each st across to last st, dc in last st, turn. (74)
Row 5 - 6: Ch 3, dc in each st across, turn.
Row 7: Ch 3, 2 dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) across, turn. (111)
Row 8 - 10: Ch 3, dc in each st across, turn.
Row 11: Ch 3, (2 dc in next st, dc in next st) across, turn. (166)
Row 12 - 15: Ch 3, dc in each st across, turn. At end of last row, fasten off.
Row 16: Join white with sl st in first st, ch 3, 2 dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) across, turn

Row 22: Join red with sc in fist st, (skip next st, 6 dc in next st, skip next st, sc in next st) acorss, do
not turn. Fasten off.
Row 23: Join white with sc in fist st, (ch 2, sc in next st) across. Fasten off.
Holly Leaf: (Make 14)
With green, ch 8, sl st in third ch from hook, (sc in next ch, ch 3, sl st in third ch from hook) 4 times, sl
st in last ch; working in chs on opposite side of ch-8; repeat between () 4 more times, sl st in last ch.
Fasten off.
Holly Berry: (Make 7)
With red, ch 4, 4 dc in fourth ch from hook, drop lp from hook, insert hook in top of ch-4, pull dropped
lp through. Fasten off.
Sew Holly Leaves in groups of two evenly spaced across rows 18 - 20; sew one Holly Berry to center
of each set of leaves.
